Another trip to Disneyland and a visit with friends!

Logan and I drove to Disneyland to meet up with one of my friends from elementary school all the way to high school. Stephanie and her husband Kyle decided to make the trip from Utah to So. Cal for Stephanie's college graduation celebration. Stephanie is also 4 months pregnant with her first child. I hadn't seen Steph since a little after we graduated from high school. Her and I made many trips to Disneyland whether it was when we were in choir together in junior high or trips with her parents in high school. We always took the same picture... the two of us in front of the main entrance. So this time was no different. We went on many rides with Logan and a few her husband and I just went on. We stayed pretty much the entire time the park was open. It was a great visit and a long day.

California Strawberry Festival 2009

This past weekend, Becky and I decided to go to the California Strawberry Festival in Oxnard, California. Logan and I met her in Burbank and then we carpooled over to Oxnard. Becky's son Will came with us as well. When we got there, we went straight for the food. It was delicious! And everything was strawberries. It was like heaven. Also, one of my best girlfriends from high school, Emily, stopped by. (I have pics of her, but she said she didn't want them posted.... so I spared her. lol) We let the boys ride the carousel and then we walked around all the tents. It was a great day, and I look forward to next year!

MY BOYS!!!

I love these guys!!!(and they obviously love pizza.)

Trip to The Getty Los Angeles

I recently have started taking online classes for college. One of my classes is an art class, so I needed to visit a museum. I decided to take Logan and my friend from high school, Morgan, joined us. We had a blast! Logan loved playing in the family area so much that he didn't want to leave. The day was beautiful and hopefully soon we will go back!

Mother's Day 2009

This past mother's day, Donald's sisters and Donald and I, decided to throw a surprise brunch for Donald's mother. Donald's sisters brought over food and their gifts for Carrie. I had also decided to make a quilt for Carrie using her parents clothing. (They both had just passed away.) Unfortunately, I forgot to take pics of the finished product, but hopefully you will get the idea with the one I have and eventually I will get an updated picture posted. I missed my mother greatly, but I was able to speak with her on the phone. Also, Logan gave me a beautiful card with a gift card to go shopping.
(the back of the quilt was light blue with hearts imprinted onto it)
