Dinner with YaYa and PaPu.

Donald, Logan and I decided to tag along with Liz, Nick and their kids to dinner. Also, Yaya and Papu came. They are Nick's parents, but I've only known them as yaya and papu (which is Greek for Grandma and Grandpa). It was a great dinner at the Steer' n Stein. Thanks again Yaya for a yummy dinner!

The beach, swimming, and In' N 'Out.

Since my aunt, uncle, and cousins are only down for a week, Logan and I decided to play some more with them! On monday we met up with them (Nick's brothers family, George&Monique&their 3 girls, Christina, Alexis,& Natalie were there as well) at Zuma beach. The kids played in the sand for hours which was nice for me so that I could focus on the tan... (being in Washington for almost 2 years really made me white!) After several hours at the beach, we headed to Monique's parents house for a dip in their pool. The water was so warm and it was also nice to have the sand washed off of us. :) We then made our way to Moorpark to have In' N' Out. Seriously, how can you not go there after a long day of beach activities and swimming? We then headed home around 7ish. Logan loved hanging out with his (second)cousins and I was very happy to hang with my aunt and uncle and my "Greek" family!

Dinner at Olive Garden

Since Donald and his father were both working late tonight, Carrie (Donald's mother) invited Logan, my sis-in-law Sarah, her daughter Taylor and me out to dinner at Olive Garden. It was nice to have girl talk (even though Logan was present) and be able to eat out! Thank you so much again Carrie for dinner!

Swimming Party at the Ioannou's

My aunt Liz, her husband Nick and kids flew down from Chicago to visit. They had invited my grandparents, my brothers and sisters, my other uncle Fred and his family and Logan and me. Donald had to work, so he couldn't make it. Logan had such a blast hanging out with his second-cousins and swimming. We even did a slip-n-slide and ate hotdogs. I felt like a kid again! Hopefully Liz and Nick with come back down to visit again soon because we miss them and they are always a blast to hang out with!

Bridal Shower and "Old" Friends.

One of my good friends from high school and church just got engaged. Stephanie Davis (soon to be Gardiner) had her bridal shower in Oak Park, California. I decided that I needed the break and made the hour and a half drive to my old stomping grounds. It was great to see people who I haven't seen since I was 15! Also another great friend there was Emily (Cameron) Monroy. I can't wait to see Steph on her big day!

Side Note: Sorry to Emily and Stephanie for these pics... we were too chatty that these are the only ones I have! :)

A Visit to (Great)Grandma's!

Logan and I went to Victorville to visit my youngest siblings, Blake and Kara, who are staying at my grandparents house for the next 6 weeks. We went swimming on the first day and just lounged around the other two. It was just too hot to do anything else. (the average was in the 100's) Here are just a few pics (for mom) of the past 3 days!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AMERICA!

This year, we headed to Valencia to hang with Donald's family for Fourth of July. Donald's uncle, Feller, had a BBQ and we also went swimming. When it started to get dark, we headed back home to watch the fireworks at the fairgrounds here in Lancaster. Unfortunately, they were not that great, but Logan loved playing in the dirt so all in all it was a great birthday party for our wonderful country!

Goofing Around...

Logan and I got a little bored... so here are some pics. He loves looking at himself in the pictures... He's my little Ham!

He's a Dancing Machine!!!

My little man loves to listen to music and dance. I found him on our bed with the alarm/radio turned on and had to grab the camcorder.... ENJOY!
