Christmas Eve and Christmas Festivities

Every Christmas Eve, we head over to Donald's Uncle's house, Billy Forshee, in Valencia for a Forshee Christmas Party. This year we had a sit down dinner, which was a nice change, and then we played a Pick-n-pass game. The kids had fun opening their presents and then playing with them. On Christmas morning, we woke up and let Logan finally open his presents. He loved all of his gifts. After breakfast, we headed to Donald's parents house for more presents and lunch/dinner. All the grandkids were there and they had a lot of fun playing together.

Schlicher Family Christmas Party

Every year, Donald's mother's side of the family has a huge Christmas party. Logan gets to see all of his cousins and other family members... it's a great gathering of people! Also, Santa shows up to deliver presents to all the kids. It's very cute to see their reactions to him.

Our Trip to Washington Pt 4

The night Alex was set apart as a missionary, we went out to eat at Applebee's.
The whole family decided to head to the airport together to say goodbye to Alex. Luckily, my father also had to leave for business the same day, so the 2 sat next to eachother on the plane to Salt Lake City. It was sad to see Alex leave, but these next 2 years will go by fast!

Our Trip To Washington Pt 3

On November 15th, Alex had his farewell and open house. It was also his 19th birthday. We took pictures outside in front of the Columbia River Temple after sacrament. The open house was held at the Bullock's home.

Our Trip To Washington Pt. 2

Once we were settled in, we headed to Chuck-E-Cheese. Alex worked there and it was going to be his last day. Logan had a blast! Kara was a great babysitter, too! During our trip, Logan and I went to visit our friends Katie and Stephen. Katie and I were in prenatal water aerobics class together while we were pregnant and our boys are about a month apart. Logan and Stephen had a lot of fun together and he didn't want to leave Stephen's house.

My parents home was a couple houses up from a park, so we all headed over there to have some fun. It was very cold... but we made the best of it.
