~LuNch WiTh UnCle JoRdDy~

Not too long ago, Logan and I decided to make the trip to Fountain Valley to visit my brother, Jordan. We met up with him at his home and Logan got to play (more like run away from) with his pug, Goliath. Then we drove to Claim Jumpers for lunch. Jordan is a waiter there so it was pretty sweet to get most of our food for free! Logan even got his own bowl of mac and cheese.(stiring my mac and cheese with a red crayon )
After our wonderful (and filling) lunch, we headed to Downtown Disney. The drive was only about 15 minutes. We walked into just about every store and enjoyed sitting by the water fountain. Logan LOVED seeing Mickey Mouse everywhere!!! He would point to pictures of Mickey and talk to him in his sweet baby language. It was a fun day... and the drive home only took us an hour and a half! (There was no traffic on a Thursday night.)
(Watching the fish at the Rainforest Cafe.)

A Day at the Park

Once Donald returned home from work, we decided to take a trip to the Apollo Park. On the way to the park was a "musical road". The road had markings, which when you drove over it, played music. It was funny.
Once at the park we allowed Logan to get out of his stroller and walk towards the pond where there were lots of ducks. They would actually come pretty close to you, especially if you had food! After the park we made our way over to See's Candy. Yum!!!
It was a fun day... hopefully this wore Logan out a little so he will not fight falling asleep tonight.

Teething... when will it end?

These past couple of weeks have been so tiring... to say the least! Logan is now only nursing at night, but he decided to get his 1st molars at the same time. Last weekend he had a fever of 101.1 degrees during the nighttime but by the afternoon it would be gone. Lots of baby Tylenol and baths were happening around here. Here's a picture to show how logan deals with his pains... when daddy's not around, it's his remote! What a guy thing!!! :)

HE'S WALKING!!!!

Logan decided that today was the day that he would just stand up and walk instead of crawl. He has been walking from toy to toy and along the sofa. However, when he would realize that he was walking alone he would become almost freightened and then drop to the ground. He has already had his first "wipeout" from walking. (He met the corner of the wall.)

MaMa's Little Helper

Logan decided to help me pick up his mess from his dinner... He loves this thing!!!

He's trying to escape....

Logan loves the box that his diapers come in from Costco. Needless to say he found a way to sneak out of the house....
he is a trouble maker.....

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY, LOGAN!!!

This past weekend was Logans 1st Birthday. (January 10th to be exact) So we decided to throw him a party. Friends and family showed up at Vince's Pasta and Pizza. He had a great time until towards the end when he was a little tired. Thanks again to everybody that came.

...also, there were neon lights that were messing with the focus on my camera so sorry if the pictures are blurry...
oh and here is a video of Logan as we were trying to get him to eat his cupcake... not a happy camper! Can you tell it was naptime?

... To Grandmothers House We Go...

Since my parents still live in Washington State, they deceided to send some presents down to my grandparents house so that we would be able to open them for Christmas Eve. Unfortunately, due the crazy and cold weather, they didn't make it in time. So when the presents finally arrived to my grandparents home, my sister, brother and I deceided to make the drive over to pick up the gifts (and visit with my grandparents, of course!). But on the way down, my brother called me and said that his work had called him in and that he wouldn't be able to make it. My sister later called after I had already arrived and said that she was still stuck in traffic. Logan and I opened our presents and then hung out with my cousins who were also visiting my grandparents. Kelli arrived almost 4 hours later! (her drive should have only been an hour and a half) However, once she did arrive, we had her open her presents and my grandma made us some dinner. We then sat around and chatted and play the game "Apples to Apples". It started to get late and I didn't want to drive home in the dark so I called Donald and told him I was going to spend the night. My sister ended up driving home at around midnight... she said she didn't want any traffic!
Then next morning was the day of New Years Eve. My grandmother informed me that the rest of my aunts and uncles and their families were headed down for that evenings festivities and she was making a ham for dinner. I called Donald and he said that he was going to catch a ride up with one of my uncles. Once everyone arrived, we had dinner and then play some games and just chatted. Donald and I had planned on staying the night, but we really wanted to be home. So we made the drive home and arrived at our home at midnight! New Years Day had arrived and Donald went golfing while Logan and I slept in... Logan slept 'til almost 11am! Then Logan and I watched the Rose Parade and had lunch. Donald arrived home and we watched USC play Penn St. at the Rose Bowl. GO TROJANS!!! It was a great weekend.

Happy New Year!

Wii ...wOuLD LikE tO pLaY....

Last year Donald and I received the Nintendo Wii game system for Christmas, so this year we received the Wii Fit. Logan is really getting into the games as you can see.... What am I going to do with this boy? He even has found the perfect spot to watch his daddy play.

My Lil' Old Man

Here are some pictures of Logan cruising along with his new walker... I tell him he's my old man when he uses it! But an adorable old man!
